Convex Capital makes direct private equity investments with the following characteristics:

• Profitable;
• Global;
• Requiring £10m of equity with no upward limit; and
• All industry sectors will be considered but with special consideration given to mining, consumer products, financial services and management of property assets.

Investment Process

Through normal institutionalised private equity routes a company may expect fund raising to take 3 months. However, due to Convex Capital's focus and involvement of senior managers in all processes we have on occasion completed transactions in under one month.

Post Investment Support

It is not always necessary for a Convex Capital representative to sit on the board of our investments but due to our extensive strategic consultancy experience we can add value in terms of:

• Commercial strategy;
• Team building; and
• Exit strategy.
